Weekend Warrior Workouts

Some people prefer to exercise Monday through Friday, others may try to pack in a full week’s worth of fitness over the weekend. Here’s some easy to remember tips for weekend workout warriors.


Perform a five to 10 minute warmup of dynamic and static stretches or a core routine to prepare your body for your activity. Cooling down is important as well to prevent injury.
Stay hydrated, especially when exercising for long periods of time. Avoid getting thirsty, as this may be a sign of dehydration.
Wear Sunscreen
Protect your skin with the appropriate SPF. Wear a hat or visor as well as sunglasses. Some exercise clothing has been treated with SPF, but you still need to apply sunscreen every few hours.
